Priced at $99/month, Unity Mobile provides all the tools for local media companies to create a mobile site fast, especially for side projects such as contests or to "resell" as part of a custom campaign.

By using their templates, adding some images, text, and RSS feeds, a publisher can create and activate a mobile website in around 10 minutes.

After selecting a name, title and description for the mobile site, setup continues by selecting and customizing various templates (or creating one from scratch). Once advertising is activated and categories are chosen, a site can be live with a publisher’s own domain name in 10 minutes.

Using the templates, a site can still be customized with images and styles to match a local media’s online image. Publishers can also include audio and video on their mobile websites, which is automatically coded so that each works properly on a wide variety of mobile devices.

Once the mobile site is live, real time statistics are reported right to the dashboard. Publishers are also given the ability to SMS readers, including polls, and competitions.

At higher pricing, Unity also provides the ability to build web applications, which are then translated so they work on all mobile devices.

Revenue generated via CPM or CPC based advertising networks with 50% of the revenue going to the publisher. The downside is that all ads are part of the network, so there is no local only display inventory.

Unity Mobile offers a 30 day trial of their services. Payment doesn’t start until a mobile site is activated, so to create mobile sites on the fly, withouth a need to control display advertising advertising, Unity Mobile is an easy solution.
